What is best glue to fix a broken R/C Remote Control Flying Saucer propeller? Yesterday my daughter bought my grandson a radio controlled R/C Flying Saucer. It is dome-shaped with a plastic propeller underneath and inset within the inner body. Operating the remote control when the saucer is on the ground causes it to rise and fly. However my grandson allowed it to descend onto an object on the floor whilst the propeller was still revolving causing it to snap in two. We've tried Loctite Super Glue to no effect. Has anyone any further ideas we could try to fix the propeller, perhaps a different and more effective glue. Thank you.
How can I unglue something? Hi, I stuck sequins on the bars of my reading glasses and now want to change them but not sure how to soften the glue! I used Loctite Super Glue, the stuff that can bind skin! Help! :)
How to remove blue loctite? I got blue loctite inside the tumblers of a lock. I have pulled the entire lock assembly apart and have access to the tumblers. I have tried heat to no avail. I have soaked it in MEK which simply makes it brittle but doesn't remove it. I have tried "Super glue remover" which makes it gummy but doesn't remove it. Help.
FTM trans, packer help? I have a mr. limpy. I don't like straps to hold it in. this sounds so crazy but for a while i would attach the packer to myself using Krazy Glue. It didn't hold for long and did nothing but leave dry white glue on my skin that came off in the shower. It didn't irritate me at all. I was wondering if it would be a major problem to try and attach the packer to myself using something stronger such as Loctite super glue. I know medical adhesive is best but I cant get my hands on any. Please dont sit and tell me how dumb i am that i want to use super glue. i just want to know if it would be really terribly harmful to my skin. thanks

Where could I buy battery connector replacements for my mp3 player? My trusty old 60GB Zen Vision M seems to have died for the last time. For several years I've been dropping it at least once a month, and it held up great. Once in a while it'd start skipping in a video and I'd open it up, reinsert the hard drive ribbon, and voila! Good as new (minus a few scratches). But this last time it gave me a firmware error message, and even after reloading the firmware it still wouldn't work. I tried my usual fix, but nada. So I tried something else and somehow in all this the female battery connector on the circuit board broke off. I tried using glue (it was late, I was tired, and had no soldering iron...Idiotic, I know...), but while it worked for a few minutes, it broke off when I closed the thing up again, and I don't know how to get the glue off (Loctite Super Glue) so that I can try soldering it back in place. If you know how to get superglue off electronic parts PLEASE let me know. Otherwise, where can I get just the connectors? PS how can I anonymously post a picture of the part online? PPS It's a Li-Ion battery, charged the same way as an iPod. Here are pics of the parts, f=female part, m=male; sorry, the photos are not great quality.. http://willhostforfood.com/files4/8/0/8/8088432/circuitboard.JPG http://willhostforfood.com/files4/4/7/3/4735930/f1.JPG http://willhostforfood.com/files4/9/4/3/9433512/f2.JPG http://willhostforfood.com/files4/6/9/0/6903238/f3.JPG http://willhostforfood.com/files4/3/7/4/3744156/f4.JPG http://willhostforfood.com/files4/4/0/2/4029836/f5.JPG http://willhostforfood.com/files4/2/3/7/237101/m1.JPG http://willhostforfood.com/files4/6/4/9/6495692/m2.JPG http://willhostforfood.com/files4/1/8/3/1832487/m3.JPG
Super Glued my Mouth Guard - safe? I wear a mouth guard at night as I am a grinder. My dog bit a piece of my mouth guard and I glue the piece back with super glue. Now my question is - it's completely dry, I waited 24hrs but could this be harmful? Or is it safe? it's LOCTITE brand superglue, does not say toxic anywhere on it.
What is the best glue for velcro on a scuba tank strap? I'm borrowing a BP/W that I'm thinking of buying (it's awesome), but the velcro on the tank straps is too small and won't accommodate my 15L steelie. The only thing holding the tank secure now are the clamps, so I need to add some velcro on the nylon webbing to keep it secure. I was at a local (Aussie) hardware shop, and the only suitable glue seemed pool reparation glue and some kind of compound stuff (expensive). Loctite clearly stated that superglue was not the best option if it was to be used in water, so I inferred the rest of the super glue would be the same. So, what is the best way to stick a piece of velcro to the nylon webbing of a harness so that it doesn't come off in salt water? Or do I really need to to sew it on there (in which case I'll have to get married pretty fast, as I don't have a wife to do it for me...) Thanks in advance.
What is the best permatex or loctite for remounting a head lamp lens back into the housing on an automobile? The car wash hit our van extra hard on our old caravan and the lens is open at the bottom and the bulbs don't stand a chance to the weather elements. I've looked around on the permatex site but for something like this where else do you go but here ... plus there 800 # is down at night. Loctite is another option. My thought is it's got to be thick enough to make a seal all the way around versus super glue which is hard to use, doesn't stay where you put it and won't make a decent seal imo. What color permatex would be go for plastic on plastic application? .. or Loctite Thanks all who apply.
HOW CAN I GET SUPERGLUE OFF OF MY TEETH? URGENT!!!!!? i know this sounds ridiculous but I'm seriously worried here. I was trying to clear a blockage to a bottle of loctite brand super glue with a sewing needle. I was trying and it was really jammed up. Finally after a minute or two the needle went through. When this happened the bottle squirted super glue all over my face lips cheek tongue and teeth. Thank God it didn't go into my eyes. I have managed to remove all the super glue from my skin and tongue with relative ease. It is however stuck to my teeth. I have been brushing at it for about 20 mins with my toothbrush (which is now ruined) and I haven't made any progress. Also I am afraid to swallow my saliva as I fear it may now be toxic. PLEASE HELP ME!!!! This happened about 30 minutes ago. EDIT* I am pretty sure it will come off on its own in time. I am however extremely worried about the toxicity of my saliva after coming in contact with the glue. How toxic is this stuff? Is it safe to drink and/or eat? EDIT* ok thanks for the timely responses guys. I just got off the phone with poison control and they said in its solid form it is not toxic and I should be just fine. In the course of a week or so it should come off on its own. Thanks again so much guys I was freaking out :^)

How do i remove the orange flash hider on my G&G gr4 g26 without breaking anything? I dont want to get answers about different guns because this guns flash hider is custom and not like other guns. The flash hider has a little hole where the outer barrels threading is but nothing seems to be inside that hole its just empty. I left the flash hider in hot water for around 3 min and took it out than quickly twisted it counter clockwise but nothing seemed to work(i also tried clockwise). I than tried the hair dryer trick a couple of times and i used the hair dryer for around 12 to 13 min. I tried to twist it off again and it didnt budge one bit. i found out about some kind of very strong super glue called loctite and to looses the glue it needs heat but ive already applied A LOT of heat. I really need an experts help!
Which glue is stronger?!? Im trying to bond 2 pieces of metal together and i need it to be super strong. do i use gorilla impact tough glue or gorilla epoxy?! also which is better; gorilla glue vs Loctite
Poll:WELL this was a sticky situation. Have you ever done anything like it.? January 2005 - SUNSHINE Coast great-grandmother Terry Horder got the fright of her life when she accidentally stuck her eyes shut with super-strength glue. The 78-year-old Wurtulla resident was defrosting the fridge when her eyes started watering and she reached for a bottle of allergy eye drops. But instead of grabbing the medicated drops she got Loctite 401 instant glue. The powerful adhesive was being kept in the fridge to avoid heat damage. “That second my eyes were glued shut and I realised the glue was next to the drops in the fridge,” Mrs Horder said. Her husband of 57 years, Joe Horder, said his normally outspoken wife was suddenly very quiet. “Normally you can’t shut her up but she went very silent and I just heard this little voice say ‘Dad, I think I’ve glued my eyes shut’,” Mr Horder said. Mr Horder called Triple-0 and paramedics soon arrived to take her to Caloundra Hospital’s emergency ward. Nurses then used vegetable oil to try to remove the glue, which had fused Mrs Horder’s eyelashes together and seeped under the lids. “There was a pool of glue against the eyeball itself but lucky it couldn’t dry because of the water on the eye,” Mrs Horder said. “They soaked my eyes for around five minutes and then tried to prise the lashes apart, which wasn’t pleasant. But about 10 minutes later I was good as new.”
Re-baby proofing the fireplace. Need to find a better adhesive? We bought the foam pads and corners for babyproofing a fireplace hearth. It came with some adhesive, but the 8-month-old pulled that off in 2 days. I went and bought a roll of super-duty double-sided tape at a hardware store and that lasted a week. I used Loctite PowerGrab, but that didn't adhere because the brick is painted and Powergrab has to have at least 1 porous surface. I try to keep him away from it, but it still needs the pads in case his 2 yr old sister pushes him into it. I'm looking at using a product called Sumo Glue. http://www.sumoglue.com Anyone have experience with this product? Any other suggestions? I am about ready to just tear the hearth down and put tile on the floor. Thanks for your help.
