Why is glue in weave bad? i always hear that it makes the woman hair fall out. I dont see why that is. they have hair glue remover so why would your hair come out with it? isnt it only suppose to loosen the glue? I got micro braids so i wont have to do my hair thru the summer. During the process of my hair getting braided, the braider was putting nail glue on the ends of the braid so it wont unravel. My hair was shoulder length and healthy. Not knowing she was putting nail glue on my hair. I went back to the store to to get hair glue remover to take the braids out. I took other advice from the answers by using oil to get it out. So on top of the bond remover and olive and veg oil, my hair is so greasy and tacky from the glue. I look like I haven't showered in weeks. I can't get the glue or the oil out, even after washing it several times. I got this done by a professional out of state. I can't really go back to the place where I got this done. If it helps for advice, I don't have ethnic hair. I'm caucasian. Please help.

Where can I buy bonding glue remover in Melbourne? This is the stuff you use to remove the bonding glue used in hair extensions. The price or quality of it does not matter, but the broader the range that is available the better. Seeing as I live in Melbourne, only shops found in the city or nearby are really going to be helpful. I have no idea where to look, so if you know of a supermarket, specialist store or pharmacist that sells this product, i would be very greatful if you would let me know :) Note: I do not have extensions, but i would like to experiment with them. I have read that bonding glue remover is the easiest and least damaging way to remove extensions. Please Help!!!! I used proclaim glue remover to remove extensions.. i cant get the oil out.? I've washed it 6 times with 2 different shampoos, 3 times with dial bar soap and 2 times with Ajax dish detergent. Can somebody please tell me how to get this oil out of my hair?

Hair extension glue.Sticky oily problem? I recently had extension for a few months. My friend had doen them for me, and she would always reglue them in>.< over the same glue.Which couldnt of been good. Anyway, last nght i used the remover to take them out, and most of the glue cam eout after hours of washing and oulling and combing and ripping:[ But there is still gross sticky glue in chunks of my hair, and its ahrd to get out. How do I take care of hair extension wefts AFTER they have been removed from my hair? I had hair extensions put in my hair for a weekend because of an event and have removed the extensions. They were glued in with Proclaim bonding glue. I used the Proclaim remover oil and the Proclaim reconditioning shampoo and my actual hair is fine. OH MY GOD please help hair extension remover? wel i love hair extensions but not the way you have to put them in my hair is clumped with glue like i have tried the shampoo that you get with it from sallys but it hasnt work my hair is notted in the glue im really scared every time i try to take it out i end up with bald patches i have tried everythning i have been to the hairdressrrs but they said their is nothink they can do about it apart from cut the glue out n i waukd end up with bald patches all over my head :( please some one help this is seriouse !!!

HAIR EXTENTIONS!!help.? alright i got them a couple weeks ago...and i love them i put them on the right way but i used glue...they looked good but yea i removed them today to wash my normal hair and just to see if i still had my hair!!...and i did but its thinner and the glue pulled a lot of my real hair out..im not really worried because im putting my extensions back in,,but i left some of the extensions in before washing my hair b/c they wouldn't come out...but i have one track of extensions left in my hair and some glue...should i keep it in there and just glue the new extensions like over and around that small piece...and get the glue remover tomorrow from sallys?...and do i glue the extentions to my hair or scalp...

Nail Glue in Hair? Ok, this was probabley the stupidest thing I've done. I have this costume where I have to glue ears to my head. Well, for yesterday I did it but I need the glue out ASAP. I cant cut my hair and I tryed vegetable oil, peanut butter, mayo, vinigar, and fingernail polish remover. I dont have olive oil. Again I'd like solutions that dont involve hair cutting! Removing HAIR EXTENSIONS, removing glue?? HELP?? I bonded/glued my own extensions in about 3 weeks ago. (yeah, I'm crazy like that). I bought all the products at a beauty supply store. I am trying to remove them w/the bonding remover oil & they are coming out, but it is leaving some of the glue behind. It is leaving a gummy glob in sections. I am having to try to take a comb & get the remaining glue out of my hair, but it is hardly working. It is taking FOREVER......... Does anyone know of any type of other product (olive oil, baby oil???) that will help get the remaining glue from my hair?? I don't want to ruin my own hair in the process & going to a salon is out of the question. (2 small children & short on funds!!) Is it normal to take hrs to remove the glue??? Thanks for any help!!!! =) THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!! ~ Here is how it went.......I tried the acetone, but I have sensitive skin & that burned a lil. I also used conditioner, which worked the best to remove the glue "clumps". It did take some hair, but not enough to cry about!! I then still had gummy, tar-like sticky glue that did not harden back up left in my hair, which in the shower, felt like it was out....I went round & round tryin to remove that, but no luck.....UNTIL......I got out the goo gone!! Perfect stuff..I let it soak in my hair for 3 min. then used a dry towel to rub it out. (adding water to the hair would have made the goo gone repel water). So I used the dry towel to remove all the glue, then washed it in the shower. I have NO trace of glue left even!! I am going to do extensions again once I dye my roots, since the goo gone took out ALL the glue in like 1 hr!!

How would you clean cds to remove glue from a glue trap? I tried rubbing alcohol but it did not work. Thanks.? Usually, I clean my extensive collection of cds by spraying them with rubbing alcohol which is the recommended way, but this glue is really tough to get off, I was thinking of using nail polish remover or lighter fluid but I don't want to ruin the 5 cds that are glued up also hair and dust have now stuck to the glue making the situation worse...I do thank anyone who could get me out of this sticky situation...
