Is there any way to keep hot glue from burning you?

my best friend Sarah tragically passed away last month from falling in art class and landing with her throat on a hot glue gun. I now run an awarness group for the danger of hot glue and would like help in finding a cure. please answer. this is not a laughing matter. I am from Kimmell pennsylvania It hit her windpipe and it was immediately sealed

1. there are glue guns now available that function at much lower temperatures, push for schools etc to use those newer glue guns.
2. Wear gloves and be careful. Always be supervised.

4. please soak your body in a tub of ice cubes before you do the waxing
