Hanging Xmas lights on brick with hot glue?
I've taken the advice from postings to hang Xmas lights (C-7) on brick with hot glue/ This works great. However, when I've tried to hang the extension cord the same way it constantly pulls off the house ... even when I have glue in plenty of places along the cord. Is there a trick to making it stick better? Should I use some clips on the cord and anchor them in the glue? Thanks in advance.

- I don't have any advice but I am amazed that X-mas lights would stick to the brick in cold weather. Try gluing the clips onto the brick and take it from there. You are braver than I am.
- try gluing some velcro on the brick and cord.
- equi_tye had a great solution. I used velcro to put lights around some brick arches on my house, and it worked great. I used Velcro brand strips, so they are just peel and stick. Very strong.
