  1. Below is a paragraph copied from a website: I got super glue on my wood table and went on line to see if I could find out how to remove it without any success. I finally tried an O-Cel-) sponge scrubber that worked like a charm. It did the job. I was able to rub on the super glue spot pretty hard without scratching the surface of the wood table. The O-Cel-O sponge scrubber package says "All Surface - Sours without scratching" and it works. Another: paint thinners will get the glue off, just dab a bit of thinners on a clean cloth and make circles like you are polishing. DON"T rush it!. BUT BE CAREFUL if the wood is antique mahogany or something do be careful as thinners could remove the finish. If you can find some wax polish around that would be good. Another: Go to your local hardware store and buy a product called GOOF-OFF. It is a liquid, and it will not ruin your table's finish. Apply a good amount of it, and let it set for a minute, then take a plastic putty knife, and whisk all the junk off the table. Don't try using a towel or cloth, because that could just complicate things! After you get it cleaned off, you could probably use some windex or something to clean up the remaining residue. (this is not safe for ALL finishes though) Another paragraph from a different website: Use acetone to soften glue and then start working at the glue. Brush, scrape, shave, peel, sand or whatever mechanical means is available to work the glue off. Reapply acetone and continue to work at the glue. Be careful - straight acetone will discolor a number of fabrics and can mar the finish of laminated counter tops (apparently this might take off the finish so check out the website before you do anything) Hopefully this might of helped :) Good luck, Nicy
