Will hot glue melt Styrofoam?

i'm doing a project and i need to know if hot glue will melt Styrofoam! thanks!!!!!

1. You'll be fine. I won't melt.
2. Yes, usually it does. Lo-temp hot glue might be ok, and they make regular glue especially for use on styrofoam now.
