Can you put hot glue on candles?

I want to put sequins on candles for a friend but I dont know if you can use hot glue on candles if it will melt the wax. Thanks!

1. yes, it will either melt the wax or they just will not stay glued on. use a craft glue like 'Aleenes tacky glue'
