Super Glue removal from Military uniform?

My husband stupidly just got super glue on his dress blues uniform. We have the Marine Corps ball in 3 hours, how do we get it off? Lol. Thank you!

1. Any kind of solvent that will not make dye or fabric decompose will help. Ive never been in your particular predicament so I dont know what specifically to suggest..... sorry
2. The only solvent that has been approved for any super glue removal is "acetone" - an ingredient commonly found in Nail Polish Remover. THAT IS EXACTLY what the ER doc uses when your little one has glued his finger to his ear. Just be very patient, use as little as possible and I think you'll be fine. I've tried this on a myriad of fabrics and NEVER had a left-over stain. BUT WATCH THE FUMES - you may want to wear a mask to protect your lungs. If you have a bottle of nail polish on hand with ACETONE as an ingredient, look for their "800" number, call the manufacturer, and describe the fabric content. You can always run the idea by your local dry cleaner for another opinion. BEST WISHES! Barb
