Gluesticks

I need to know how to get dots candy to stick to a styrofome ball, super glue or hot glue doesnt work, help?

Im doing a science project and im making a moldel virus, im using styrofome ball and dots candy and super glue is not working to good, anyone have a suggestion on how to get the dots to stick?

1. You could take a toothpick and stick it in the dot and then stick it in the Styrofoam. This should work not using the gluing process. The best of luck to you!
2. Dots melt, right? You could heat up a frying pan and _carefully_ touch the dots to it to melt the bottoms a little. Then they should stick nicely.
3. I'd suggest you abandon the dots and find something else roughly hemispherical to serve as the virus accessory proteins. You could try pompoms, those would glue nicely.
