Gluesticks

Is it possible to make super glue conductive?

If I cut a lot of tiny pieces of wire and put them in super glue would it be conductive? Would the resistance be high? I'm asking this because I don't have a button cell battery holder and I need to connect 2 or 3 cells to wires and I was wondering if I could glue everything together this way.

  1. no, it won't work. glue is not conductive. .
  2. Goto Radio Shack and buy a proper holder for a buck and you will know that it will work.
  3. I don't think "tiny pieces of wire" will be reliable enough, you would need very fine powder, like aluminium powder, or alike. There are conductive adhesives for sale, but at a price... You might also try this guy's idea http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-Conductive-Glue-and-Glue-a-Circuit/
