will super glue melt if heated?
I want to use super glue to repair my hair straightener. It still works but the handle broke and its a pain to use. If I use superglue on the plastic and heat it up after its dry, is it going to cause a fire or melt?? PS: ..hair straighteners can get really hot, sometimes reaching 400*F

- read instructions on the back if heating of the plastic handle could cause melting if heated too much By the way, if your just trying to super glue the handle that YOU hold, why would it get so hot that it would melt the super glue?
