What would cause a hot glue smell in my truck?

I put in my system yesterday and now after i drive i get out and i keep smelling this smell that smells like a hot glue gun! what could cause this??

1. when you say system do you mean stereo? if so you have some wires getting hot
2. what system? stereo? you smell a burnt wire, or one burning because it is getting hot because it was not attached correctly (burning wire= the plastic coating is what smell like plastic)
