Is it possible to bind a book with hot glue?
I want to bind a book without having to send it to Kinko's or FedEx, but I don't want to staple or punch holes in it either. Is it possible to bind it by using a hot glue gun? Or if not, any other suggestions?

- I prefer to use a flexible PVA glue, but yes, hot glue can work (it's one of the ways paperbacks are made). Regular white PVA glues like Elmers are a little brittle for binding, but I'd use it in a pinch for something that wasn'T going to have to last long. Otherwise, I'd use something like: http://www.shopbrodart.com/shop/cb/product.aspx?pgid=790&catnum=40405001&attvalueid=31854&attid=15513#prodGrid_bookmark
- I worked in the Church libarery and used rubber cement for the song books that need rebonded. However I used my hot glue on a water filter for my husband and it worked.
