can someone give me glue remover tricks that work?

i spilled a very very strong glue in my carpet i need the best stain remover

1. the only way to get it out is cut a square around the glue and replace the square,
2. take a bunch of qtips or a bunch of cotton balls. wet them with nail polish remover or pure acetone and rub the spot. another option is that you can wait until the glue dries completely and then just scrape it off with a knife.
