Gluesticks

Is there such thing as like a super glue for cuts?

Essentially, I have a small split on my finger from basketball, and I simply want to close it up, its clean, just won't heal This is from playing B-ball btw.

  1. Yes, I saw it in the supermarket and on a commercial. Kind of apply like white out.
  2. You can use actual super glue. As the skin regrows underneath it it will shed old dead skin and the attached superglue will fall off. Just remember the warning...bonds instantly to skin....use it to your advantage.
  3. Yes. Simple Krazy Glue will work. It's the same stuff emergency room docs use on cuts. It sanitizes the wound, and closes it up. Keep the wound from getting wet; water weakens Krazy Glue.
  4. yes
  5. Yes. ER's use something called Dermabond. You can find a similar product at most pharmacies. It doesn't usually burn when applied. Super glue is NOT supposed to be used, and is a poison. Don't put super glue in a wound!
