how to stop my extensions from falling out?

i got hair extensions last week and they used an odd method by gluing the hair in with a hot glue gun i never saw this done nor heard of it before. now there starting to fall out little by little. any ways i can prevent this ohh and i cant blow dry or put any heat on the glue or it melts
