Remove hot glue from car safely?

I used a hot glue dent puller on my car to remove a dent. The problem is that the glue stuck to the car in huge gobs. How do i get it off without damaging the paint and clearcoat?

1. Use a hair dryer on it and roll the glue off. It doesn't have to get extremely hot to become pliable. I like those dent pullers.
2. you can use a heat gun to remove it. Be careful no to get the paint too hot or it will remove it as well
