Is holding my breath while spraying 3M glue safe?

I don't want to deal with a respirator mask, but I'm sick of feeling like I have a stuffy noise/congested head after I'm working with 3M 77 glue. I just want to know if I plug my nose, if it will stop this. Do not tell me to buy a respirator mask unless you can suggest one that won't have me looking like a grunt from Halo. Thanks. 3M Super 77 classic + Spray booth. I personally don't even care about looks, but it'll slow me down on the job and have people talking...and that's going to be annoying.

1. they have stylish masks and who gives a shit if you look like a freak. and no plugging your nose wont help. buy a respirator mask get over it. its either the way you look or the way that your lungs feel when you have emphysema! and you could die from inhaling to much!
