How long till I can peel off the glue?

I had a c-section on May 13, 2009. And they put dermabond (basically super glue) on my cut... not stitches. I was just wondering when I can start peeling it off? I dont wanna peel it off and then my cut like open up. LOL! Before I left the hospital I think the doctor said I could start peeling it up after a few days and its been almost 3 weeks. But I just wanted to make sure. Anybody know? Thanks :D

1. Well, I'm not familiar with dermabond. But stitches and staples are usually taken out within a week of surgery, so it should be fine. In doubt, phone up the doctor's office, the nurse will be able to tell you ! (I'm a nurse, but not in surgery...)
2. i had the same thing for my first child. my sugestion is to leave it as long as posible because i took mine off early and my scar is wide it didnt heal rite. but when did your doctor tell you that you could take a regular bath? because once you can do that it will start peeling off by itself.
