how do i get super glue off of my headlight?

got eyelids for my headlights...well the 2 sided tape just wouldn't hold it so i put super glue on it. well it isn't doing such a good job either. Any suggestions on getting the super glue off? Scared to use acetone, afraid it will eat through the headlight. Tried goo gone and regular glue remover...anymore suggestions? I have tried a razor also

1. try a razor
2. Wash light with acetone and then use a razor blade and lightly scrape off the residue. Don't scratch too hard as you will scratch the lens. If they are plastic, then you might be out of luck!
