Would Hot glue melt an Action Figure?

I bought a box full of Harry potter stuff, and one of the action figures arm is broken off. I was just wondering if it would melt it or if it would be safe to use it. Thanks! Well, thank you sir, for expressing your opion, But That is not what I asked for. I was asking about hot glue and plastic. I do not care if you do not like Harry Potter, for the Action figures alone have made more money that most make in their intire life, not including, the movie,books, and other merchindise. I am Christain and I do not believe in witchcraft, but even Christain children are raised on Magic stories, thanks to Disney. So please keep in mind if your answering a question, to actually answer it and not add some little smart comment. Thanks! (:

1. Use super glue instead.
2. wow the fact that you have harry potter action figurines.... just wow! thats all i can say... it would not melt and you should throw it away it has no value...
3. Try some E6000 adhesive. It is very strong, and plastic to plastic is a hard one to glue. Wal-Mart has it. Joann's has it. Michael's has it. Shouldn't be to hard to find.
