Motorcycle hand grip glue?

Has anyone used 3M High strength 90 spray adhesive for installing motorcycle hand grips? i've used it for putting carpet on wood and it seens rather strong. any ideas? Thanks.

1. i use clear spray paint- it works as well or better than anything else. they go on easy, and it dries very quickly.
2. Hairspray. Oldest trick in the book.
3. I used 3m trim spray although I don't think it was the extra strong kind and the grips twisted very slowly from riding.

5. the 3M is not designed to work very well in warm temps and it will soften up. A lot of people use hairspray and there is some grip glue that can be bought in motorcycle shops that works good too. Remember, at some point the grips will need replaced so you don't want a permanent solution. ;)
