  1. stanley knife
  2. Leave it alone for a couple of weeks. After that it loses most of it's strength. You should then be able to rub it off with your finger - the glue comes away in little balls,
  3. try using paint thinners just put a bit on a cloth and rub it in slowly if that dosent work try lemon juice that works as well as the acid lifts it of.
  4. try heat it with hair dryer , slowly rub it while it warm , may be its work good luck.
  5. acetone (fingernail polish remover) will take it off, but may mer the finish of the counter
  6. I usually use a stanley blade. If its a little bit difficult, wet it with nail polish remover first.
  7. Super Glue Removal from Countertop You probably didn't count on cleaning superglue from your countertops when going about your regular kitchen cleaning. What to do? Nail polish remover with acetone should remove super glue from most kitchen countertops without harming the surface, as should WD-40. If neither of these products work, you'll want to ask the advice of a countertop installation professional.:)
  8. Cyno Acrolate buster, it`s basically anti-Superglue. You can get it at most hardware shops alongside the Superglue. Works very well and should only cost a couple of £. Good luck.
  9. Wrap some ice in a cloth(maybe t towel) and let it stand on the glue for a couple of hours or until it melts then you should be able to pick it off..good luck
  10. I got some super glue on my granite worktop and found it chipped off easily with a knife blade. Super glue tends to set rock hard so isn't hard to chip off most surfaces that are smooth.
  11. Acetone (nail polish remover) on a soft cloth should shift it: it certainly worked for me.
  12. If you manage to glue one bit of yourself to another bit of yourself, the hospital will use acetone (nail varnish remover) to dissolve it. No reason why this wouldn't work on your worktop, let us know how you get on.
  13. a stanley blade in a proper scraper holder to keep the blade at a certain angle, mind your fingers
  14. You can buy superglue remover from most PVCu suppliers,(not window companies) costs about £3 a bottle try finding eurocell building products in your area. Hope this helps.
  15. Use LOCTITE super clean spray. Cat. No. 16066. Supplied by Loctite UK, Welwyn Garden City, Herts. AL7 1JB. But this product may affect painted surfaces or some type of plastic .So please enquire.
  16. nail varnish remover - test on a unnoticable patch first
  17. Very hot soapy water, will remove it, or try methylated spirits on piece Cotton wall. good luck
  18. Superglue is water soluable. Where children stick their eyelids or fingers the hospital just applies lots of plain water until they unstick. Do not add detergents to the water, plain water and lots of it will remove the superglue from your work surface.
  19. Try Super Glue remover. It breaks down the cyanoacrylate in Superglue and makes it easier to wipe up. I've used it on clothes and hands... Test it on a small inconspicuous area first to see what it will do to the surface. And Good Luck.
  20. vinegar
  21. tar and glue remover, get it from most car care places.
  22. You can try an Acetone Free nail varnish remover with a gentle scourer. This shouldn't damage your worktop, but as with everything; test it somewhere out of sight first!
  23. try lighter fluid, petrol in a can.
  24. Soap, warm water and a small scrubing brush
  25. i've heard hot soapy water works.
  26. Nail varnish remover. Acetone based. It takes false nails off so I guess it will take superglue off as the stuff in false nails is a super glue potion.. Do a spot test first.
  27. spray the area with WD40 and gently scrape off the glue with a blunt knife.
  28. i have 2 solutions. 1: find a knife and bend the tip abit to the side. use somethin like abit of grease. use the tip of the bent knife and slowly scrape it off that way. solution 2. try the first and get abit of it off. then try using a can of airspray and use that to try and loosen it just abit.
  29. It's easy...PETROL!!! I have try!!!
  30. you can try and heat the end of a knife and lay it on the glue that sometimes makes it go soft and you can remove it
  31. Cooking or Olive oil.
  32. If its dry, plick it off with a scalpel or other such sharp blade.
  33. Try nail polish remover, should do it. or Put ice cube on glue to freeze it then carefully pick it off. Also Vinegar is supposed to remove anything.
