- Why do you plan to suck the glue out of the glue gun and eat it??? What does it matter if its vegan or not?? You won't be consuming it
- no, they come from pureed puppy brains.
- i don't think so
- No. The glue is made out of chicken parts.
- wtf? you can't eat glue, you idiot! LOL no offence but that was a really dumb question, hahahahaha!!
- Wow, from the answers you got, it looks like all the idiots are out today. :P Hmm...good question. I've never looked into that, but I doubt it's vegan. Most glue isn't. If you craft a lot though, I don't know what alternative you would have. I know Elmer's glue is vegan, and there is one that you can get from Pangea (veganstore.com) that is vegan. I use tacky glue and hot glue occasionally for the crafts I sell part-time. It's just one of those things you can't get around, unfortunately. :/
- I looked it up on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_melt_adhesive It seems that hot glue is mostly plastic, but there's probably no way to determine which additives have been used, without contacting the company that made the glue. Sorry for the inconclusive answer...if you're making a craft that would be marketed as vegan, you should contact the company that produced the glue, that's probably the only way to know for sure.
