- REALLY, really hot i have accidentally had that glue pored on me by friends and myself oops. it took skin of and it Burned like crazy
- I don't know if 120 volts is a "high temp" hot glue gun, or a "low temp" hot glue gun, but they will be different in the temps they reach. I do know that the glue from a high-temp type gun can burst a rubber balloon if the melted glue gets on the balloon right away, but glue from a low-temp type gun is fine on a balloon if applied immediately. (So those using high-temp guns are told to extrude the glue onto something else to let it cool down a few seconds before applying it to a balloon.) (By the way, it's the *gun* not the glue sticks that determine the temp of the glue when it's extruded... so most glue sticks can be used in either gun.) Don't know about any industrial type glue guns though. HTH, Diane B.
