How do I remove super glue?

I accidentally spilled some super glue on my parents solid surface counter. Any ideas how to remove it?

1. Acetone is super glue's weakness (found in nail polish remover). I'm just not sure if you want to put acetone on the counter - might bleach or change the colour of the counter.
2. Try a high grit sandpaper while counter is wet.
3. Try 1000 grit sandpaper, it is for color sanding and polishing and should not leave marks. Acetone may eat into the surface and permantly leave a permanent mark.
4. use acetone, (nail polish remover in the cosmetic aisle) it will soften it and you will be able to scrap it off, use a hard plastic scrapper, do not use any sandpaper, it will ruin the counter top.
