  1. Acetone. Other wise known as nail polish remover will take it off.
  2. If the lens is glass it should scrap right off, any coatings on the lens may be damaged. If the lens are plastic, then get a new lens; any attempt to move the glue will destroy the lens.
  3. That is a Question I've Asked at least 3 Different Professional sources, and I got the same Answer, Not Possible!! my Daughter has ruined 2 pairs with that Stuff. That glue seems to BURN Itself into the Lenses.
  4. acetone will remove super glue, but it can also ruin some plastics or plastic coatings on your glasses... Here's what I would do: Try scraping the glue off with a finger nail. Anything stronger will scratch the surface. If that doesn't work and if there is any plastic involved it has probably bonded with the plastic -so if it is just a little bit of super glue and it doesn't bother you too much - just live with it. If there is plastic and you won't be able to use the glasses as they are (i.e. the glasses are ruined anyway - so you might as well try to remove the glue) you can try putting on just a little bit of acetone - but be prepared to work: quickly, only directly on top of the superglue, and rinse it off immediatly. If you are lucky, it might actually work (maybe it's glass after all, or it may be a harder type of plastic that doesn't get all gummed up with the acetone. If the glasses are all glass and you are sure there isn't any special coating, then yes, go ahead and try the acetone. If you aren't sure you could risk testing a tiny amount of acetone on a far corner of the lens to see if it does anything to the lens before trying it on the whole lens. Good luck! Tell us what you do.
