Putting Super Glue On Cuts?
Why do people put super glue on cuts? lets say u got a cut on your hand and you put glue on it.. is the glue gonna be on your hand forever since it's super glue or will it still come off natually? and also, does it cause infection if you put that on cuts?

- Super glue has been used in surgical procedures for 40 years. It was used in the Vietnam war by battlefield medics to seal serious wounds enough to get the soldier to a hospital. The glue will eventually be absorbed from a wound. If you put it between two layers of skin, outside of the body, then it will only stick for 3 weeks at most, as that is the approximate length of time until skin cells are replaced. It would not generally cause any infections in and of itself. If the cut itself is dirty and contaminated - then the glue may seal in the bacteria, which could lead to an infection.
- bad idea
