  1. spray paint no hot glue gun yes at least in Colorado
  2. Yeah, unless they don't care, you will not be able to buy the spray paint legally. The hot glue gun is not restricted.
  3. nope, must be 21, have a federal glue gun permit, a 7 day waiting period for the glue gun.... SERIOUSLY... there is nothing to prevent you from buying paint or a glue gun... as long as you can pay for it.
  4. I know there are laws (in some states only?) against under-18 yo's at least buying spray paint, or maybe you'd be restricted to just one or two cans? --because of tagging/graffiti problems. Don't know more than that though... you could always call any store that sells spray paint to ask though since any laws should be the same at all stores in your area. I don't think there's any problem with buying glue guns though. Be aware that there are at least *two types* of electric glue guns though -- high-temp guns and low-temp guns (they both use the same glue sticks). Mostly you'll find low-temp guns these days in craft stores (and probably also hardware stores?) because the high-temp ones get hotter than is really necessary for doing most things.
