  1. NO
  2. Yes it is.
  3. no no no no no.....you need to go to the local pet store and get the special silicone that is used for fish tanks....and use it to attach the stuff...other glues may give off toxins and kill the fish
  4. it might heat up the water, then your anphibians will mutate into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. which isnt that bad of an idea at first, but if you think about it, when the TMNTs came to town, Splinter came too. keep that in mind. the choice is yours
  5. No, get approved silicone glue. Some sticks made for glue guns have all kinda of chemicals to make them stickier and stronger, the last thing you want is that junk going through your fish's gills.
  6. Since the glue gun sticks are silicon based it shouldn't hurt the fish. Just make sure you let it cure for 24 hours before putting it back in the tank.
  7. No, you'll probably electrocute yourself if you put that gun in a tank of water. On the other hand, I do know someone who has used a hot-glue gun successfully to assemble accessories for his aquarium. So apparently that glue is reasonably water-proof, and non-toxic, if you apply the glue only to dry objects, and let the glue itself cool, dry, and set before you put the object in the water. But keep the plugged-in gun far away from any water.
  8. i made some decorations for my tank using a hot glue gun and fake plants. they are still held together and all my fish are still alive. its been over a year now. i would say it works.
