How do you remove super glue from metal surfaces?

I accidentally got some super glue on the side of my cell phone. No damage, but there is a rough, slightly raised patch on it that I want to get rid of. I don't know what to try using.

3. Acetone will remove it, but acetone also dissolves a lot of plastics. My choice would be: - just leave it - scrape it off with a utility knife blade - lightly sand it with some fine sandpaper
