is super glue safe on skin?
i'm trying to convince my mum to let me get my tragus pierced. i've been wearing a little rhinestone on their for a week, and my mum's started coming round:) but, the rhinestones only stay on for about a day, sometimes less. and they cost quite a lot the ones i'm using, so i was wondering if i could use a TINY dot of superglue to keep it there for a little longer, ive tried for ages to try and convince her to let me get it done! so, could i use a tiiiiiiiiny dot? because people use it to close up cuts and stuff right? so, a tiny dot on my ear will be fine! i need to keep it on for as long as possible, i don't mind if it's weeks haha. i doubt it will last that long though. so anyway, is it safe? {yes i know it's a childish question, if you think it's stupid then don't answer} thanks xxx

- umm.. yeah .. but don't do that..lolz..
- Yes its not that bad on skin but be careful because it will be very hard to take off
- Yea it's safe haha.
- its not a fatal result, just some pruney skin in other words,ur ear will be a little dry and wrinkly, but other then that,ur fine cuz i have had super glu on my hands before and thats all it does, its really hard to get off though so try to not put ur ear close to anything, cuz youll be stuck literally in a sticky situation LOL hope i helped and if you can return the favor and choose me as best answer thatll be great thanks;)
- I remember reading a book during the summer that said something about using superglue to seal paper cuts. Of course, the book was talking about paper cuts, but if it's safe enough to use on an open cut, I suppose it's OK to use on skin. If you're still not entirely sure, ask your parents, a doctor, a teacher, or some other expert in the field.
