how do i remove super glue with household appliances?

when installing heads for my arrows the super glue dried to fast and didnt get pushed all the way in so and to redo it.

1. The best way I know to remove super glue is with nail polish remover/and/or acetone. Get the kind that removes fake nails. Be aware that it will also remove any paint or finish
2. use acid tone finger nail polish remover
3. Even better than Acetone is the solvent Methyl Ethyl Ketone, it has a higher vapor pressure so it stays around longer to help dissolve the Super Glue.
