do car dent poppers take a special glue stick?

I have a car dent popper and cant find replacement hot glue sticks for it. or can i just go buy regular arts&crafts type of hot glue sticks?

1. I have been wondering about that too. I'm going to try ordinary hot melt sticks next time I have a ding to pull. My DingKing did a pretty good job until the glue ran out.
