Will using hot glue to apply fake nails damage my real nail?

I have no nail glue left. They give you 24 nails and enough glue for 12! So if I use a hot glue gun will it hurt my nail nails? Any one have a personal experience with this? Thx in advance ppl!(: Okay, so apparently hot glue is a BIG NO. So, are there any allturatives that wouldn't give the harmful effects of hot glue?

2. don't do it! have you ever accidentally gotten the glue from a hot glue gun on your fingers? it burns because it's really hot! it will definitely ruin your nails I've burned myself with a hot glue gun and you get a nasty burn. can you go to CVS or Rite Aid or something to get nail glue? it should be less than 5 bucks. or if it's urgent you can always just paint your natural nails
3. yes it's sooo hot and hot glue burns are THE WORST. if i compared my hot glue burn to a burn i got from sticking my hand in a 400 degree fahrenheit oven rack, the hot glue ones were worse. plus, the glue will spread and touch your skin. and it will be very hard to get off. it's actually just melted plastic. your nails probably can't withstand that. i haven't tested it, but i definetely would not risk it.
4. Not only will it damage your real nail, but it will melt or damage the fake nail! They have nail glue at Walgreen's, Walmart, CVS, for only about $3 (estimate). I would use those instead. Hope this helps! (:
5. Ummm.. it probably will damage and hurt your nails very badly. Hot glue isnt meant for applying fake nails = )
6. nail glue is just super glue. and yes, it will hurt.
7. I recently put on my own fake nails, while i shared the glue with my friend. Of course i thought nothing will happen to mine so i gave the glue to her. That is until my nail came off. Just use Crazy glue ( super glue) it works the same. As i heard Super glue has the same ingredient as Nail glue. So it wont be bad for your nail!
