what glue resitant nonstick coating or surface can i apply to a wooden press so the press isnt glued together?
I have a clamp/press for gluing books, I uses pva, wood glue, and hot melt glue. its made of wood. What can I coat, paint, or apply to the wood so I don't glue the boards together, or the paper to the boards? Thanks in advance!

- try laying wax paper above and beneath the books
- any HDPE type plastic sheet will work You can even use walmart plastic bags
- How about trying Reynolds Wrap Release non-stick Aluminum Foil. It's got a regular side and a non-stick side that nothing sticks to. (It say here in the fine print.....)
- Teflon won't stick to anything. Here is a link to a variety of teflon products to suit your needs. Glue's tend to stick to all materials, plastic, and aluminum foil. I tried aluminum foil when gluing wood with elmers glue. Had to sand it off. Teflon is chemically engineered to slip on anything. http://www.google.com/products?sourceid=navclient&rlz=1T4GGIK_enUS272US272&q=teflon+spray+coating&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=Q6AlS-_iIozCNZ_blOMJ&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=3&ved=0CCUQrQQwAg
