Is it possible to pull you finger nail off with hot glue?

I just though of this when i was using a hot glue gun and wanted to know.

1. sure, i ripped my skin off all the way down to the muscle on my left arm when a friend dumped a gob on me, i freaked and ripped it all off. it would take alot of pulling to get a nail off though.
