Is hot glue gun suitable for attaching DVD tray to paper?

Hello, I am trying to attaching DVD tray to stiff paper, the tray is like this: http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/5810/18rg5.jpg 1. Can I use hot glue gun? will it melt the DVD tray? 2. What colour the glue will be once it is cool down? Many thanks, sy

1. I have used hot a glue gun for yrs. If your glue gets too hot it may melt the plastic. You can buy low temp glue sticks. I found the glue came off easily on some plastics and won't spread to a thin even layer. It doesn't dry clear, it's kind of milky. It will probably work well if you are just going to use a couple little dots, say in each corner. Have you tried just plain white glue, at least it dries clear and is spreadable.
