how do i remove super glue from clothing?

I spilled super glue on my brand new pants. It's not that bad, but there is an inch-long stain on my thigh. The glue hardened and now it's cracking. I think it's too late to do something, but I really don't know. My brother got super glue on his shirt a while ago and it made a huge hole with time. any help? Thanks in advance.

1. sorry but i think that its impossible to remove the stain without ruining your pants. Super glue can be unforgiving...

3. Hmmmm i heard with chewing gum you can put your clothes in the freezer then scrape it off... might work with superglue but i think there is a bit more stickiness involved LOL
4. Use acetone and a q-tip, reapplying the acetone a number of times to remove it layer-by-layer. Work on the outside and then on inside. May not come off entirely. But it will be less obvious. :)
5. I hear nail polish remover remove glue from clothing. I get some on hand, just wash with soap several time, it come off at last.
6. Nail polish with acetone in it. Please be aware that this may melt the fabric. I have use the soaking and washing the clothes, after the glue get that wet I have been able to peel it of. You must be careful not to pull the glue as this will make a hole. Good Luck. Annmarie
