Is it safe to use a hot glue gun on a Nintendo DSi?

I want to hot glue small pearls/beads and things like that(it's called deco-den) on my Nintendo DSi. Will I ruin it? Or should I buy a case and hot glue that?

1. I would use a really crappy Glue Gun that doesn't heat all that well, just to be safe.
2. Better not to. You could use super glue. The heat could melt some of solder on the circuitry. Sounds like a good idea to buy a case and glue that.
3. I would not use a hot glue gun for this as there are better glues on the market for the application of small items on a hard plastic surface. Go to a craft store and check out the glues they have to offer. A good jewelry glue seems to be what you want to look for. Either that or an all purpose glue used for nonporous items.
