How to take super glue of a plastic counter ?

how can you take a smudge of super glue on a plastic counter i trryed using rubbing alocohol on a knife that had super glue but no luck.So what would work on a counter thats plastic??? ok thank you i will try its a long finger smudge

1. try agent orange... although that normally only works for sticker residue.. so .. i think you can't..
2. Acetone will dissolve superglue (or any cyanoacrylate glue). You can get a bottle of it at the hardware store, and many nail polish removers contain acetone.
3. Acetone removes super glue......nail polish has acetone. Be very careful as it will also damage the plastic, so work carefully....just on the glue.
