How do I remove Super Glue from the Counter top?
Help! Do I use Acetone Nail Polish remover? Does this get it off completely, or do you still have to scrape it? HELP, my husband is having a fit.

- need nail polish remover w/ acetone (as-a-toe-n) it really works
- Use the nail polish remover with a Q tip, carefully, if you are sure it won't harm the finish on your countertop. Maybe you could touch a Q-tip with the remover to a spot under the coffee pot, or some such thing that will be able to cover it up if it is going to mark the counter top. Do you have a steamer? Could boiling water do it? I successfully used plain acetone on the inside (metal or plastic?) of our microwave when we burned a bag of popcorn. My husband was ready to buy a new microwave, and it was only 6 months old! Good Luck!
- The makers of super glue also make a "debonder" that really works....My son spilt super glue on my counter and it dried. I got a bottle of the remover, followed the directions, and it worked like a charm...
- A debonder
- Nail polish remover will discolor or dull the finish of the counter. Here's what you do...Take a NEW single razor blade and GENTLY and carefully scrape the super glue from the counter, being careful not to scratch the counter.Super glue is very hard and solvents will not disolve it without wrecking what is underneath.Good Luck
