How do i hang small shelves on my walls with out glue or putting holes in the wall?
OK my mom and I are just about to move into a new rental place. I have not read all the agreements since i am still a dependent. I want to put those small decorative shelves around the top of the room but I don't want to put any thing that will damage the wall. I know about the 3M hooks but haven't used them and don't know if they would work or not for shelves. Does anyone know if they will or if there is anything else that would work? Thanks Im just going to be using them for my teddy bear collection which isnt all that big at the moment.

- Put nails in your wall its fine. when your done just paint over the hold when your done
- Do NOT use the 3M adhesive for shelves - at least not if you don't want the shelves falling on your head in the middle of the night! If you are planing on using the shelves for something heavy, like books, you will need wall anchors. Pretty much you should use wall anchors anyhow, because the day will come when you put that one thing on the shelf that makes it pop off the wall - if you are in a rental, a nice shelving unit or bookshelf that sits on the floor or straddles the bed would work best.
- 3M Products aren't good for shelves, those are hooks. Just read the agreement, and then contact the Landlord and get permission. Then drill holes, screw in some screws, and anchor the shelves to the wall.
