- get a low temp hot glue gun, but i don't think it will.
- no unless you hold the tip directly on the ball for an extended period of time
- Nope. Just tried it! However DO NOT stick the styrofoam ball on a hot plate! Nor should you make a layer of acetone around the styrofoam ball and put it in the oven! These are all BAD ideas!
- nope. only if you set it on fire. I don't think they have different temp guns b/c I haven't seen one. I suggest taking it slow and be careful b/c it is hot but not hot enough to start a fire or burn (the styrofome)
- You need low temp glue sticks. They work the high temp ones will
- There are two types of craft-type "glue guns" --high-temp guns and low-temp guns (they use the same glue sticks though). If you use a high-temp gun the glue will melt the "styrofoam," although you can cool it a little before putting it on the ball by extruding the glue onto a popsicle stick or something, then applying that glue to the ball (the glue will have cooled enough by then not to be a problem). Or you can just use a low-temp glue gun (probably the most common type these days).
