Gluesticks

will a hot glue gun melt plastic?

im buying a brushless setup for my rc car but need to glue it to the chassis. will hot glue melt it? oh sorry i need to glue down the on/off switch of the ESC.

2. No, the hot glue will not melt the chassis. However, it's not going to be very sturdy and will eventually break loose. Not sure if you are talking about gluing the ESC to the chassis or what part of the brushless set up you are trying to glue. If it's the ESC I would just use double sided tape. Some ESC's have mount holes in them to secure them with scews. I would drill through those holes into the chassis and secure it with screws before gluing anything....or use double sided tape.
