Can I light tobacco with a hot glue gun?

I wanna smoke from my pipe but I have no lighter so I want to try using a glue gun. Like sticking the hot metal tip in my tobacco to light it. Would it work?

1. no it wouldnt work. i suggest buying a cheap lighter at family dollar there only a dollar. or just use some matches.
2. A glue gun will not work to light tobacco.
3. Do you have a stove? Use a wooden skewer as a "match"
