My 97 Toyota Avalon smells like a hot glue gun?

I just got the catalytic converter fixed, along with the timing belt and O2 sensors. When I drive it for a while, I get a smell similar to a hot glue gun. I checked for plastic bags in my exhaust pipe and under the car but found nothing. Whats wrong with the car? Am I in danger if I continue driving it for long periods of time?

1. The anti rust on the new parts is burning off. Soon the smell will go away.
2. who cares what the first answer says just save some time and use an air freshener.
