Can you use a hot glue gun safely on fabric?
I have a little school project and I want to stick some Barbie clothes and a very small stuffed animal on construction paper. Scotch tape wouldn't hold, and I would like to use hot glue, because its hold is firm - but if I use hot glue to stick the clothing and stuffed animal to the paper, can I eventually peel it off? Or will it ruin my fabric-y things?

- Hot glue is really sticky and hard to peel off if on any type of fabrics. If i were you, i would still use it but be careful about when and what to use it on.
- It'll pretty much ruin the clothes, most likely. But you could baste them to paper with needle and thread. Watch the dyes in construction paper -- they'll discolor the clothes if the project gets damp.
- It will almost for sure ruin the fabric items, so I would suggest you go to an office supply store and buy sticky dots. They are clear, sticky and will remove easily. This is the same stuff that you see credit cards stuck to the mailer paper with.
