what is the best glue for Popsicle sticks?

im building a popsicle stick bridge for my class project and i need to know a really good glue, i tried alot of glues, could someone please tell me the best glue cause i only 2 more days to do this thing.... :( to the first person who answered: i wouldnt really use e-6000 i hear its toxic.

  1. Actually anything can be toxic..if you want to stay away from fumes then by all means use Elmers wood glue product..
  2. I would have to say to use hot glue cause when I was younger that's what we used and it works very well it never really comes off
  3. Wood glue would hold the longest. You can find it in any hardware store.
  4. Elmer's. that is what we used for the past 50 years. if it ain't broke don't fix it. i have popsicle stick note holder that's 10 yrs old. Elmer's held it together. you can get elmer's white glue at walmart, the market, staples, school supply. non toxic, dries clear. can you get to market in 2 days? of course! good luck.
