Is it ok for your gerbil to ingest hot glue?
I'm hoping to get a gerbil so I made them a little bench made out of popsicle sticks and hot glue. Would it be dangerous to have my gerbils possibly ingest dry hot glue or should I leave it out of the cage and leave it alone? Thanks :)

- I don't think its a good idea for a gerbil to have access to hot glue. They will probably chew on the bench and possibly the glue. I don't know, but the glue could be toxic to them, and if anything it could cause them to choke
- They'll die.
- I would Research if the glue is sticking out in like strands he may eat it and that dose not seem good but if compact then it may be fine as long as he cant eat any.
- That could be extremely harmful. Just get him a little toy made of wood.
- It could be harmful but if they ingest a little bit of elmer's glue it wouldn't be bad. You could make another with elmer's glue.
